Tried to follow the instructions from AdGuard to click on the checkboxes, but Safari rejected all clicks.I saw the Safari preferences "Extensions" populate properly.App Store had AdGuard extension, and I "got" it.Is it really necessary to re-boot in Safe Mode? I've been using adguard for a long time now altho on Android but how it works and what it does should be same even tho Apple might be a bit more restricted and not able to filter as much (not sure just assuming this one but feels like something Apple would do).I have the same problem.

It looks like it connects to a VPN but it doesn't or well it does but it's just a local VPN server hosted on your phone it connects to too be able to filter dns its only way they can do it but non of that is sent to them its a 100% local thing. The store one is gonna be different then a web extension the open source one cause it has more functions and coding is different between a app and a browser extension but everything adguard does is local on your phone.
